To turn on Split Screen mode (parallel mode)
- Start the Tecarta Bible app
- Rotate your device to landscape
- Tap the My Settings drawer (looks like a gear)
- On the top toolbar, tap the Split Screen button (button has two columns of 4 horizontal lines) to activate Split Screen mode.
- Go back to the My Settings drawer
- Tap on the the My Content category to expand it and see a list of purchased Bibles
- Now tap on a translation's name and you will be prompted to view the translation in the left or right screen
- Tap again on a different translation's name and you will be prompted to view the translation in the left or right screen
- Close the drawer and enjoy :)

I can no longer get split screen to work on android. Any other settings to check?
Hi Charles, please contact us by clicking "Submit a request" in the top right corner and we'll be able to help you further with your specific device. In general, if your device's screen rotation setting is not enabled, then you will also not be able to rotate your Bible app to landscape.
That was the problem. Screen rotate was turned off, and I don't recall changing it, but that was the fix.
I am using the desktop version and cannot find the settings gear icon to move from 1 translation displayed to two translations displayed. The answer in archive seems to apply to a tablet or smartphone. I haven't used the Bible app on my desktop often and it looks so different from my phone version so I am having trouble acclimating to the difference.
Hi Elizabeth,
Sorry for the confusion. :(
Our website is a little different from our mobile apps. Here's how to view 2 translations side-by-side on our website:
