You asked; we heard you!
Since we have heard an overwhelming demand for our app to behave like a typical Android app, we have changed the back button to behave like a history button (similar to the Google Chrome). So now the back button will navigate up through your history.
If you would like to close the app, simply please tap the home button on your Android device. Then if you open up your Tecarta Bible again, you will see that the app will open to the last chapter that you were viewing. :)
You can close the background process of your Bible app by simply tapping the multitasking button (for some Android devices it's double tapping or long-pressing the home button) and then simply swiping away the Tecarta Bible app.
All Android devices can only have roughly 3-5 apps running in the background and so while you might see many more apps listed in the multitasking view, only the recent 3 or 5 apps will be cached. In addition to this, after a certain amount of time, even the 3-5 cached apps will eventually be closed down entirely.
If you would like to change the behavior of the back button, you can do so by going to the app settings in your Tecarta Bible.

Latest version has ability to change Back button behavior on Android, so you can now disable Back button to access history if needed. I prefer this and thanks for adding this option!
For Android phones without physical navigation buttons, double tap anywhere in the text area of the page to access the Android status bar and soft keys. Double tap again to turn off.
